Q - How do I pay for a course when I book it through CatchtheLingo?
A - You simply reserve your course and school accommodation through the website by paying 15% of the course price up front. In the case of a TEFL course you only have to pay 10%. When you arrive at the school you simply pay the remaining 85% or 90% to the school. Remember all courses offered on CatchtheLingo are presented at best price so you in effect it costs you nothing to use this site. If you approached the school directly you would pay exactly the same but you would not benefit from the rich features of the site or the support we offer.
Q - What system does CatchtheLingo use to allow me to book a course?
A - CatchtheLingo employs the latest technology that enables schools to offer their courses in a real time environment. The process of booking your course has been designed to ensure everything runs smoothly and both school and student are informed at every stage.
In terms of actually taking payments we use paypal pro, a leading payment solution that is perfect for websites such as our own: This is the exact same payment system as hostelworld or hostelbookers use: You have two choices; you can simply pay using your credit or debit card on our encrypted secure pages or you can follow a link and pay through your paypal account on the paypal website. Either way all credit card data is managed by paypal and we have no access to it.

Q - What forms of payment will the school accept?
A - The school you transact with will have its own accepted forms of payment. Generally schools will always accept cash. Most schools (especialy the larger schools) now accept credit card and debit cards but usually charge between 2% and 10% extra for this service. A small number of schools accept bank transfers. On booking a course you will be informed by the school of acceptable forms of payment for the remainder of what you owe. You can also find this information on the school information tab.
