So I guess the time has come for me to introduce myself to all of you Lingo-catchers out there!
I’m Carolin, the latest addition to the team at Catch the Lingo. This means that I am the person who you will come across more and more when you become an active member of this website and its community or book some of the Spanish or TEFL courses we offer. I will also be the person updating our Facebook and Twitter accounts and I’ll generally try and leave some traces of my pixie dust on everything related with Catch the Lingo, so keep coming back to see what's new!
From today on I will also post a new blog entry once a week which you can access directly here. If you don’t want to risk missing out on first-hand tales and advice from your favourite nomad German then add this link to your bookmarks – or even better, subscribe to the blog’s RSS feed.
Part of my mission for the next few weeks is to resuscitate the community section of the website so that step by step we will get closer to perhaps someday becoming the main travelling forum and community for South America! You reckon that sounds a bit far-fetched? Well, to be honest, you might be right - but why not give it a shot? I’ve got the inkling that if we all work on this together this website might turn into something big! We already offer lots of great information on travelling in South America, give you the option of booking your preferred language course directly on our website (without paying any extra of course) and we have plenty more cool ideas in store!
So I’m excited to meet lots of you other likeminded globetrotting folks in our forums and on Facebook and Twitter! Feel free to drop me a message at carolin@catchthelingo.com anytime or just add us on Skype (catchthelingosupport) where either myself or someone else from the team will usually be online to answer any of your questions or just have a digital cup of tea and a chat about the website or travelling in general.
Right then, I guess this is enough information and inspiration for today!
If you want to find out more about know who the heck I actually am and what brought me to Catch the Lingo – be patient and wait till next week’s blog where I’ll tell you a bit more about myself! There is also some information about the entire Catch the Lingo - team here in the Who are we - section!
