Eamonn McMahon - Founder and Managing Director

Eamonn set up Catch the Lingo after his experiences travelling and volunteering last year. He is based in Islington, North London where he manages the development of the website. While he has other commitments pinning him down, he does endeavour to travel to as many parts of the world as he can to help grow the project in the future.
Carolin Schoeller - Marketing Director
If there is one phrase that sums up Carolin, then it is the Costa Rican slogan 'Pura Vida'! Life is too short not to travel and experience life on different continents, which is why Carolin has lived in seven countries over the past five years and travelled to many, many more. Languages are a great passion of hers and her mission is to speak at least 10 of them semi-fluently by the time she dies (on number 5 at the moment...). She recently finished her BA in Spanish and German Studies and whilst she is finishing her MSc in Management in Cardiff, Wales, she will be a part of the Catch the Lingo - team to at least be in touch with the travelling scene in spirit.
Stephen Eisenhammer - The writer.
Stephen is our philosopher, all-round consultant and community liaison office. However, we only pay him to write our destination guides (which he likes to remind us is more akin to miserable parents' pocket money than pay). Stephen set up his own student newspaper, Vivid, while studying at Cambridge University and has travelled just about everywhere you won't find tour buses. You shouldn't be put off by his angry revolutionary appearance as he is actually an awfully nice fella, and a decent man for a debate after a few beers as long as you aren't easily offended.
Pratheeba Pathmanathan - Investor

Pratheeba from London is one of the founders of CatchtheLingo. He has travelled across much of Asia and South America and is a keen fan of local football in Latin America.
Amanda Barnes - Writer
The best Spanish speaker amongst us, Amanda once worked as the editor for a local newspaper back in England. More recently she has journeyed everywhere from Argentine to Mexico and back to Brazil. While travelling, she worked as an assistant in a wine store, wrote for a travel magazine and now she is employed as a writer for a wine magazine in mendoza....
She contributes as a writer for catchthelingo and she is also our resident chef when around.
